This work is absolutely brilliant! I just love the way this adorable cat is presented to us. Its expression is very serene and its eyes very intelligent and prominent. Achieving that truly is a miracle.
I think it is wrong to judge this piece of art from the angles of different techniques when they aren't used. It would be like comparing digital art with traditional, which won't bring us anywhere - it should be only judged from the scope which it includes - it was made with professional pencils and on an expensive paper.
The work is very elaborate and it is marvellous how realistic it looks. Each and every line is visible and yet it is a part of a greater picture, of the unity of colours. The background is slightly 'blurred', putting the subject, the cat, more in the focus. The fur is excellently done - it is voluminous and the shades are there. The whiskers could have been slightly brighter as they naturally are. Nevertheless, they don't break the harmony of colours.
You really don't stop to paint, and you're making incredible things!
I admire the sense of nobleness and solidity here. The texture. The colors.
But... I know you love color pencils, maybe i'm stll not used to it. Somehow i still feel the lack of something to be even more real, appealing, alive. It just looks static for me. I suggest you to draw and paint figures in action, movement, more expressive.
I'm also waiting to see an original creation of yours, without reference. What do you think?
Anyway, it's just me challenging you, maybe you don't need or like this other Kind of stuff...

Simply, beautiful!
